Risk disclosure
Trading futures, forex, options, equities, and other financial instruments involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for every investor. The high degree of leverage available can work against you as well as for you. You may lose all or more than your initial deposit. Before deciding to trade, you should carefully consider your investment objectives, level of experience, and risk appetite.
1. General trading risk
Trading financial instruments — including but not limited to futures contracts (such as NQ futures), forex, equities, options, and cryptocurrencies — carries a high level of risk, and may not be suitable for all investors. The possibility exists that you could sustain a loss of some or all of your initial investment. You should not invest money that you cannot afford to lose.
Leverage can amplify both gains and losses. A small market movement may lead to a proportionally larger loss on funds deposited. The use of leverage is one of the highest-risk features of futures trading. Before opening any leveraged position, you should be fully aware of the implications and confirm you understand the mechanics of margin requirements, liquidation, and overnight financing.
You should be aware of all the risks associated with trading and seek advice from an independent financial advisor licensed in your jurisdiction if you have any doubts.
2. Hypothetical and historical performance
Where TradeScorer Forge or any TradeScorer product displays performance metrics — including but not limited to win rate, profit factor, number of trades, average gain, drawdown, or any backtested or simulated result — you must understand the following:
Hypothetical or simulated performance results have certain inherent limitations. Unlike an actual performance record, simulated results do not represent actual trading. Also, since the trades have not actually been executed, the results may have under- or over-compensated for the impact, if any, of certain market factors, such as lack of liquidity, slippage, or commissions.
Simulated trading programs in general are designed with the benefit of hindsight. No representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to those shown.
Past performance is not indicative of future results. Performance metrics shown reflect a specific historical window and a specific configuration of the system. Different time windows, different settings, different market conditions, and different execution will produce different results.
Performance metrics shown on TradeScorer websites or marketing materials reflect:
- A specific historical window (typically a 30-day rolling window or a specifically dated backtest)
- A specific configuration of system parameters at the time of measurement
- A specific instrument (typically NQ futures on the M1 timeframe for Forge)
- Idealized execution assumptions (signals are assumed to be acted upon at the displayed price, without slippage or commissions)
Your actual results will differ — potentially materially — based on your own discretion in following or ignoring signals, your execution timing, your broker's spreads and commissions, your position sizing, and the live market conditions you trade in.
3. No investment advice
TradeScorer does not provide investment, financial, trading, tax, or legal advice. Nothing displayed on TradeScorer websites, in TradeScorer products, in marketing materials, in social media posts, in Discord channels, or in any communication from TradeScorer constitutes investment advice, a personal recommendation, an offer to buy or sell securities, or a solicitation of any kind.
TradeScorer is not registered as an investment advisor with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), the National Futures Association (NFA), the Autorité des Marchés Financiers (AMF) in France, the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) in the UK, the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA), or any other regulatory body in any jurisdiction.
You are solely responsible for any trading decisions you make. We strongly encourage you to seek the advice of a qualified, licensed, independent financial advisor in your jurisdiction before making any trading or investment decision.
4. TradeScorer is a tool, not a service
TradeScorer products — including Forge — are technical analysis tools designed to display algorithmic computations on price charts within third-party platforms (such as TradingView). They are intended to assist your own analysis and decision-making, not to replace it.
Specifically:
- Signals displayed by TradeScorer products are algorithmic outputs, not personalized recommendations
- You must confirm and execute any trade yourself, on your own broker, with your own funds
- TradeScorer does not have access to your trading account, does not place trades on your behalf, and does not manage funds
- You retain full discretion over whether to act on any signal, when, and at what size
- You are solely responsible for your trading decisions, position sizing, risk management, and execution
5. No guarantee of results
TradeScorer makes no representation, warranty, or guarantee — express or implied — that:
- Any signal, score, statistic, or output produced by a TradeScorer product will be accurate, timely, or profitable
- Past performance metrics will be reproduced in the future
- The product will be free of bugs, errors, or service interruptions
- Third-party platforms (such as TradingView) on which TradeScorer products run will function correctly at all times
- You will be profitable using TradeScorer products
Any testimonial, review, success story, or example trade displayed on TradeScorer websites or marketing materials reflects the experience of a specific user under specific conditions and is not representative of typical results. Most retail traders lose money trading leveraged products.
6. Third-party platforms and brokers
TradeScorer products are designed to run on third-party platforms (primarily TradingView). Your use of such platforms is subject to their own terms, conditions, and risk disclosures, which you must read and accept separately. TradeScorer is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or controlled by TradingView or any broker.
To execute trades, you will use your own broker. The choice of broker, the execution quality, the commissions, the spreads, and the regulatory protections you enjoy depend entirely on your broker — not on TradeScorer. We strongly recommend trading with a broker that is regulated in your jurisdiction.
7. Regulatory notice by region
United States
Trading futures, options, and security futures involves substantial risk and is not suitable for every investor. Carefully read the Risk Disclosure Statement for Futures and Options before trading. TradeScorer is not registered with the CFTC or NFA.
European Union (including France)
Trading derivative products such as futures and CFDs is highly speculative, carries substantial risk of loss, and is regulated by the AMF (France) and ESMA (EU). The European Securities and Markets Authority has identified that between 74% and 89% of retail investors lose money when trading CFDs. While Forge targets futures (not CFDs), the risk profile of leveraged futures trading is similar.
United Kingdom
The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) requires brokers offering CFDs and similar leveraged products to disclose their loss rates. TradeScorer is not authorised or regulated by the FCA and does not provide regulated investment services.
Other jurisdictions
If you reside outside the EU, US, or UK, you are responsible for verifying the legality of trading the financial instruments referenced by TradeScorer products in your jurisdiction. TradeScorer products are not directed at residents of any jurisdiction where their use would be contrary to local law.
