Chart setup
Start on NQ 1 minute. The system is built around short-term Nasdaq futures behavior, session rhythm, and fast reaction logic. Once your baseline workflow is stable, you can test other supported chart contexts more carefully.
Baseline first. Do not optimize from one session. Use the default configuration long enough to understand how grades and market state behave.
Reading signals
Forge Signals prints qualified LONG and SHORT entries with a grade and score context. Higher grades mean the setup passed stricter filters; they do not mean the next trade is guaranteed to win.
| Element | How to use it |
|---|---|
| LONG / SHORT | Directional entry prompt generated by the system. |
| A+ / A / B / C grade | Quality bucket for the setup. Use it to filter, review, and avoid weak conditions. |
| Dashboard context | Market state, leg context, and signal status in one on-chart panel. |
First settings to touch
- Timeframe profile: keep M1 for the first sessions.
- Minimum grade: raise it if you want fewer, stricter signals.
- Session filters: match the hours you actually trade.
- Panel position: place the dashboard where it does not cover price.
- Cooldown and overheated filters: use them to reduce clustered entries.
Alerts
Create alerts after the script is on the chart and your settings are saved. Use TradingView's alert dialog and select the Forge alert condition or the script's dynamic alert function when available.
- Create one alert for Forge signal messages.
- Recreate alerts after major setting changes.
- Test alerts in paper mode before routing them into any live workflow.
Daily workflow
- Confirm instrument, contract, and timeframe before the session.
- Trade only the grades and sessions that match your plan.
- Log screenshots and outcome by grade at the end of the day.
- Review clusters of losses before loosening filters.
Troubleshooting
- Script missing: check the exact TradingView username sent for access.
- No signals: your grade threshold, session window, or market filters may be too strict.
- Alerts not firing: recreate the alert after saving settings.
- Too many entries: raise minimum grade and review cooldown settings.
