Core modules
| Module | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Signal engine | Scored LONG/SHORT entries with grades and chart labels. |
| Score oscillator | Lower-pane view of signal pressure and market state. |
| W/L analytics | Tracks outcomes by grade, session, signal type, and depth context. |
| Risk controls | Frames prop-firm style targets, drawdown distance, and per-trade assumptions. |
| Visual controls | Lets you tune dashboard, overlays, and chart readability. |
Settings to touch first
- Instrument and timeframe profile: keep the first baseline on NQ M1.
- Minimum signal grade: decide whether you want frequency or selectivity.
- Session profile: separate pre-market, New York open, and slower periods.
- Risk assumptions: set account size, contract size, target, and drawdown rules before trusting stats.
- Display layout: keep panels readable before adding extra visual layers.
Do not start by tuning deep weights. Build a baseline first, then adjust one family at a time only after you have enough reviewed trades.
Alerts and webhook use
Forge Pro supports dynamic TradingView alert workflows. Create alerts after settings are saved, then test them in a paper or non-execution destination before using them in any live routing.
- Use signal alerts for graded entries.
- Use webhook payloads only when the receiving system is tested.
- Recreate alerts after changing material signal settings.
Post-session review
The Pro advantage is feedback. Review performance by grade, session, signal type, and depth context. A single day is noise; clusters across sessions are information.
- Export or screenshot the W/L panel after the session.
- Mark which grades you actually traded.
- Separate execution errors from system outcomes.
- Adjust filters only when the sample size justifies it.
Troubleshooting
- Stats look wrong: check account size, tick value, contract count, TP/SL, and session window settings.
- Chart feels crowded: turn off non-essential overlays and keep the oscillator visible.
- Webhook missing fields: recreate the alert after saving the latest configuration.
- Performance changed suddenly: compare market regime and session, not only settings.
